Henderson Strategies
Andrea Henderson is an attorney and seasoned higher education leader with more than 25 years of experience in state-level policy and advocacy for community colleges. She served as Executive Director of both the Oregon Community College Association and Arkansas Community Colleges, where she led statewide initiatives to expand access, equity, and student success. Andrea holds a Graduate Certificate in Strategic Foresight from the University of Houston and brings a unique blend of legal, policy, and futures thinking to her work.
Now, as a consultant, she helps community colleges and rural communities navigate uncertainty, explore emerging trends, and build future-ready strategies. Strategic foresight is the practice of examining change, imagining alternative futures, and developing the capacity to respond intentionally—not reactively—to what’s ahead. Andrea partners with leaders to create vision-driven plans, facilitate transformative conversations, and align today’s decisions with tomorrow’s possibilities.
